The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's soccer team cruised past Medgar Evers, 11-0, in a non-conference contest at Danzi Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

• Junior Sebastiano Bartolotta led the Golden Eagles with a game-high two goals on three total shots
• Antonino Ruopoli, Sonny Farrell and Connor Owenburg each totaled one goal and one assist
• Nick Pensavalle, Vincent Mariani, and Lucas Pelaez, all added one goal
• James Dacos, Chris Ventimilla, and Brandon Flaherty all finished with one goal as well

How it happened

• The Golden Eagles opened the scoring column early with the first goal coming in the first two minutes of action as Pelaez put it away courtesy of Sean Gordon and Kenneth Castillo
• In the tenth minute Dacos would capitalize on a penalty kick, and just a minute later Bartolotta would score his first of the match bringing the lead to 3-0
• As the first half was coming to a close Owenburg and Flaherty found the back of the net in the last five minutes of the half, finishing the half with a six goal advantage
• The second half would see the same action as SJLI would go on to score five goals in the second half to secure the 11-0 victory

• 10 different Golden Eagles registered an assist on the day
• SJLI had 21 shots on goal compared to the Cougars one
• St. Joseph's held a 5-1 corner kick advantage
