How it happened

• Stony Brook started the game strong with a shot by Oliver within the first minute of action that was turned away by Giuseppe Vitale

• Just two minutes later Oliver fired another shot on goal that would found the back of the net for the first goal of the game

• In the first twenty minutes of action, the Seawolves totaled four goals that saw the Golden Eagles fall behind early 

• In the last 15 minutes of action in the second half, SBU would net two more goals taking a 6-0 lead into the second half

• Gabriel Ferreira opened up the second-half scoring column with a goal in the 47th minute, followed by a goal from Gomez to seal the victory for Stony Brook
